International mutual funds: While most equity mutual fund schemes have faced pressure over the past year, international mutual funds have stood out with strong performance. According to Value Research, 12 international mutual fund schemes are currently open to Indian retail investors, allowing investments through both SIPs and lump-sum contributions. These funds have generated returns of up to 85 per cent over the past year, with many also delivering impressive performance across the three and five-year periods.
