Artificial intelligence is reshaping India’s IT services industry, with growth slowing sharply across much of the sector in FY26. At the same time, CEO compensation at several leading IT companies has risen significantly over the past two years. Here’s how CEO pay, revenue growth and stock performance compare.
Persistent Systems CEO pay jumps 162% as stock gains just 4% | CEO Sandeep Kalra’s compensation rose to ₹388 crore in FY26 from ₹148 crore in FY25, a 162.2% increase. His average compensation over the last two years stood at ₹268 crore. Revenue grew at an 18.1% CAGR between FY24 and FY26, while the stock gained 4% over the last two years.
HCLTech CEO pay hikes 65%, shares down 33% | CEO C. Vijayakumar received ₹172 crore in FY26, up from ₹103 crore in FY25, a 67% increase. His average compensation over the last two years stood at ₹138 crore. HCLTech’s revenue grew at a 5.1% CAGR between FY24 and FY26, while its stock declined 33% over the last two years.
Infosys CEO pay rises marginally as stock falls 47% | Outgoing CEO Salil Parekh’s compensation stood at ₹83 crore in FY26, compared with ₹81 crore in FY25, a 2.5% increase. His average compensation over the last two years was ₹82 crore. Revenue grew at a 4.2% CAGR between FY24 and FY26, while the stock declined 47% over the last two years.
Mphasis CEO pay nearly doubles as stock falls 26% | CEO Nitin Rakesh’s compensation rose to ₹105 crore in FY26 from ₹53 crore in FY25, a 98.1% increase. His average compensation over the last two years stood at ₹79 crore. Revenue declined at a 3.4% CAGR between FY24 and FY26, while the stock fell 26% over the last two years.
Tech Mahindra CEO pay rises 29.6%, stock down 6% | CEO Mohit Joshi received ₹70 crore in FY26, compared with ₹54 crore in FY25, a 29.6% increase. His average compensation over the last two years stood at ₹62 crore. Revenue grew at a 1% CAGR between FY24 and FY26, while the stock declined 6% over the last two years.
Birlasoft: CEO pay rises 5.2% as stock falls 56% | Birlasoft CEO Angan Guha’s compensation increased to ₹61 crore in FY26 from ₹58 crore in FY25, a 5.2% increase. His average compensation over the last two years stood at ₹59 crore. Revenue declined at a 3.1% CAGR between FY24 and FY26, while the stock fell 56% over the last two years.
Wipro: CEO pay falls 5.7%, stock down 37% | CEO Srinivas Pallia received ₹50 crore in FY26, compared with ₹53 crore in FY25, a 5.7% decline. His average compensation over the last two years stood at ₹51 crore. Revenue declined at a 1.4% CAGR between FY24 and FY26, while the stock declined 37% over the last two years.
Coforge: CEO pay rises 55.6% as stock gains 34% | CEO Sudhir Singh’s compensation rose to ₹56 crore in FY26 from ₹36 crore in FY25, a 55.6% increase. His average compensation over the last two years stood at ₹46 crore. Revenue grew at a 29.3% CAGR between FY24 and FY26, while the stock gained 34% over the last two years.
TCS: CEO pay rises 3.7% as stock falls 51% | CEO K. Krithivasan’s compensation stood at ₹28 crore in FY26, compared with ₹27 crore in FY25, a 3.7% increase. His average compensation over the last two years was ₹27 crore. Revenue grew at a 1.5% CAGR between FY24 and FY26, while the stock declined 51% over the last two years.
Hexaware Technologies: CEO pay rises 30.4% | CEO R. Srikrishna received ₹30 crore in FY26, up from ₹23 crore in FY25, a 30.4% increase. His average compensation over the last two years stood at ₹26 crore. Revenue grew at a 9.3% CAGR between FY24 and FY26. Stock performance for the last two years is not available.
A number of companies have installed new CEOs in the two years since AI technology began reshaping the competitive landscape. Hexaware’s long-serving CEO is stepping down, while LTIMindtree, Wipro and Tech Mahindra have CEOs with less than three years at the helm. Infosys is also set for a leadership transition, with Ashiss Kumar Das set to take charge from Salil Parekh after Parekh completes his second term as CEO.
