The company said it has received a Letter of Acceptance for the design, engineering, procurement and construction of the International Cricket Stadium and Allied Development Works at Suryanagara 4th Phase KHB Layout, Indlawadi Village, Anekal Taluk, Bengaluru Urban District, Karnataka, under EPC Mode-I. The total contract value stands at ₹990.16 crore, excluding GST.
According to the filing, the project has been awarded by the Karnataka Housing Board, making it a domestic contract.
The company said the order is scheduled to be executed over a period of 36 months. The contract covers the complete design, engineering, procurement and construction of the proposed international cricket stadium, along with allied development works at the project site.
J Kumar Infraprojects also clarified that the promoter, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the entity awarding the contract. It further stated that the order does not fall under related-party transactions.
Shares of J Kumar Infraprojects were trading lower on the BSE following the announcement.
