Jennifer Jo Cobb, the NASCAR driver, has been ordered to $850,000 to a North Carolina woman for allegedly having an affair with her husband.
Cobb was sued in Davidson County for alienation of affection and criminal conversation as per court records accessed by WBTV. The woman alleged that Cobb ‘willfully, intentionally, and deliberately seduced, enticed, and alienated the affections’ of the husband for ‘several’ months leading up to their separation in 2021.
As per the complaint, the woman was happily married before the affair. She accused Cobb of calling and texting her husband while traveling to races to set up trysts for sex. According to the complaint the woman ‘suffered the loss of support, injury to [her] feelings and reputation, and had her marital relationship destroyed’ due to the affair.
