Today, those same fashion moments have found a second life online, with younger generations recreating her iconic looks and celebrating her style choices decades after they first appeared on screen. For Karisma, the renewed interest in her wardrobe choices is particularly meaningful because fashion has always been one of her biggest passions. While cinema remained her primary focus, she says her love for fashion and dance shaped her personality from the very beginning of her career.“Actually, I’ve always loved fashion right from the beginning. I think apart from, of course, acting and the love of cinema, the other two aspects of me have always been the love of dance and fashion. So I’m so happy that the hard work we put in then is appreciated by the current generation, Gen Z kids, and millennials. And I think it’s a wonderful feeling to know that and to identify with them,” she shared with Variety India. The actress added that seeing younger audiences embrace styles from a different era makes her feel connected to them in an unexpected way.
