US Markets | US stock markets traded mixed on Monday as gains in the Dow Jones Industrial Average outweighed weakness in technology shares. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose about 300 points, or 0.6%, while the S&P 500 edged up 0.2% after recovering from earlier losses. The Nasdaq Composite was little changed as declines in chip stocks offset optimism following a pause in hostilities between the United States and Iran over the weekend.

Globally, the earnings calendar includes Mercedes-Benz, Visa, Coca-Cola, Boeing, Ford Motor, UPS, Barclays, GSK, Safran, Unilever, NXP Semiconductors, Orange, ASM International, Ferrovial, Kering, Philips, Logitech, EssilorLuxottica, Aldar Properties, and Fertiglobe.

India June IIP Data | India’s June Index of Industrial Production (IIP) data is scheduled to be released on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. IST by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI). The previous month’s data showed industrial output growing 5.1% year-on-year in May 2026, supported by a 5.5% rise in manufacturing and a 9.9% increase in electricity and gas supply.

US Macro Data | The United States will release the Advance Goods Trade Balance for June at 6:00 PM IST. The goods trade deficit stood at $105.8 billion in May, compared with $83.0 billion in April, according to the latest data from the US Census Bureau. The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index for July will be released at 7:30 PM IST. The index stood at 91.2 in June, up from a downwardly revised 90.6 in May.

Fed Policy Meeting | The US Federal Reserve will begin its two-day Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) policy meeting on Tuesday. The rate decision and policy statement will be announced on Wednesday, with markets closely tracking the central bank’s guidance on interest rates and the economic outlook. At its previous meeting in June, the Federal Reserve kept the benchmark interest rate unchanged at 4.25%–4.50%.
