MF Corner: BSE sees strong interest in Satwick Index, expects mutual fund launches to follow

Ashutosh Singh, Managing Director and CEO of BSE Indices, said the new benchmark has attracted interest from both asset managers and investors because it offers a values-based investment approach. Built from the BSE 500 universe using an exclusion-based methodology, the index removes companies from industries that do not meet its screening criteria. He said discussions with fund houses are ongoing and future product launches will depend on investor demand and asset accumulation.
