MobiKwik shares end in 20% upper circuit; stock sees ₹189 crore large trade


Shares of One Mobikwik Systems hit the 20% upper circuit at ₹242.14 on Tuesday, October 6, after around 79.20 lakh shares, or nearly 10% of the company’s equity, changed hands in block deals at an average price of ₹240 per share.

The transaction was valued at approximately ₹189 crore, based on the reported average deal price.

The block deal comes as the stock extends its gaining streak for the second session, with the shares gaining about 23%. The identities of the buyers and sellers were not immediately available.

Shareholding pattern

As of June 2026, promoters held 25.08% of One Mobikwik Systems, while public shareholders held 74.92%.

Among the promoters, Bipin Preet Singh held 14.52%, while Upasana Rupkrishan Taku held 10.11%. The promoter group also held shares through two family trusts.

Within the public shareholding, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) held 4.48%, including Government Pension Fund Global with a 2.99% stake and FLC Investco with 1.16%. Insurance companies held 2.69%, with Bajaj Life Insurance holding the entire stake in this category.

Among other public shareholders, Bajaj Finance held 10.13%, while Times Internet held 1.91% and Elimath Advisors Private Limited held 1.75%, according to the shareholding data.

At the end of the June quarter, as many as 1.62 lakh retail shareholders, or those with nominal share capital of up to ₹2 lakh, held a 36.95% stake in the company.

One Mobikwik shares react

Following the block deal, shares of OneMobikwik Systems ended 20% higher on Tuesday at ₹242.14. The stock is nearing its IPO price yet again of ₹279. The day’s gains have turned the stock positive year-to-date, with shares up more than 5% so far in 2026. However, the stock remains down 13% over the past 12 months.
