Motilal Oswal AMC Crosses ₹2 Lakh Crore AUM, Driven by SIP Growth and Product Expansion

Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company (MOAMC) said its assets under management (AUM) across mutual funds, alternative investment funds (AIFs) and portfolio management services (PMS) crossed ₹2 lakh crore as of August 7, 2026.

The asset manager operates across mutual funds, PMS and AIFs, with its portfolio largely focused on equities.

During FY2026, MOAMC launched 18 passive mutual fund schemes and five active schemes, according to the company. Its passive fund offerings include products covering Indian and international equities, factor-based strategies, sectoral themes, commodities, multi-asset strategies and debt.

The company also said it added around 56.08 lakh SIPs during FY2026. Its SIP inflows reached an all-time high of ₹16,479 crore during the year. It also reported an increase in gross sales and a decline in redemptions during the period.

The ₹2 lakh crore AUM figure includes assets managed across the company’s mutual fund, PMS and AIF businesses and therefore is not directly comparable with mutual fund AUM figures reported by the industry.

The milestone comes as India’s asset management industry continues to see strong participation through systematic investment plans and other market-linked investment products. Retail participation and the growing financialisation of household savings have remained key drivers of mutual fund industry growth.

Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company was incorporated in 2008 and is registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as the investment manager for Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund.
