MP Ladli Behna Yojana 41st instalment released: How to check payment status

The Madhya Pradesh government has released the 41st instalment of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, transferring more than ₹1,834 crore to the bank accounts of over 1.25 crore eligible women on October 14, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said.

Under the scheme, eligible women receive monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500 directly into their bank accounts. The latest transfer marks the continuation of the scheme, which began in June 2023.

Beneficiaries can check whether the latest instalment has been credited by reviewing their bank account balance, passbook or transaction statement.

Ladli Behna Yojana: How to check the ₹1,500 instalment

Women enrolled in the scheme can follow these steps to verify the payment:

  • Check the bank account: Review the account linked to the scheme to see whether the ₹1,500 payment has been credited.
  • Check the passbook or bank statement: Update the passbook at the bank or review the transaction history through mobile banking or internet banking, if available.
  • Check SMS alerts: Look for a bank message confirming the credit. The absence of an SMS does not necessarily mean the payment has not been made.
  • Visit the official scheme website: Go to the Madhya Pradesh government’s Ladli Behna Yojana portal at cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in and look for the beneficiary or application status option to check the payment details.
  • Contact the bank or scheme authorities: If the payment is not reflected, check with the bank and the relevant local scheme office to verify the account and payment status.

What if the instalment has not been credited?

Beneficiaries who cannot see the latest payment should first verify the bank account linked to the scheme and check their recent transactions. They can also confirm their application and payment status through the official portal or the relevant authorities.

A payment announcement does not necessarily mean that every beneficiary will see the credit at the same time. If the amount is not reflected, beneficiaries should verify the transaction status before assuming that the instalment has been missed.

How much has the government transferred under the scheme?

According to the Chief Minister, more than ₹65,000 crore has been transferred to beneficiaries under the Ladli Behna Yojana since its launch in 2023.

The state government has earmarked ₹23,882.81 crore for the scheme in its 2026-27 Budget, Yadav said.

Separately, the Chief Minister announced the transfer of ₹115 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana for LPG cylinder refills, benefiting more than 23 lakh women.
