NBCC secures ₹83 crore work orders across Maharashtra, Delhi and Odisha

NBCC, HUDCO partner for August Kranti Bhawan redevelopment, project funding


State-run construction company NBCC India Ltd on Wednesday (June 3) said it has secured work orders worth around ₹83.24 crore, excluding GST, in the ordinary course of business. The company received a ₹39.99 crore order from Canara Bank for the construction of a residential building at Borivali West, Mumbai.

NBCC also secured a ₹5.51 crore order from the Resident Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, for the upgradation of Bungalow No.1, Janpath, the residence of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. In addition, the company received a ₹37.74 crore order from the F&ARD Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, for construction and expansion works across several districts in the state.

The Odisha project includes regional veterinary hospitals, polyclinics, PCR rooms, diagnostic laboratories, veterinary dispensaries, sub-block veterinary dispensaries, livestock aid centres, livestock resource centres and administrative offices.

NBCC India reported consolidated net profit of ₹253.5 crore for the March quarter, up from ₹182.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue fell 1.8% from last year to ₹4,559.8 crore from ₹4,643.8 crore.

Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) declined 3.4% to ₹287.3 crore from ₹297.3 crore a year ago, while EBITDA margin narrowed marginally to 6.3% from 6.4%.

The company’s profit before tax rose to ₹304.6 crore in Q4FY26 from ₹208.3 crore in the year-ago quarter, supported by an exceptional gain of ₹80.1 crore during the quarter.

The exceptional gain was related to the reversal of an earlier write-down in the company’s Kochi real estate project after the Supreme Court recalled its earlier judgment linked to environmental clearance-related issues.

For FY26, NBCC reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹9,755.3 crore, up from ₹8,730.6 crore in FY25, while net profit increased to ₹703.3 crore from ₹476.1 crore a year ago.

Shares of NBCC (India) Ltd ended at ₹102.20, down by ₹1.85, or 1.78%, on the BSE.
