NMDC Q4 Results 2026: State-run mining major NMDC Limited reported a strong performance for the March quarter, with net profit rising nearly 16 per cent sequentially and revenue witnessing a sharp jump driven by improved operational performance.
According to the company’s stock exchange filing released on Friday, consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of FY26 stood at Rs 2,018 crore, compared to Rs 1,747 crore reported in the December quarter.
The iron ore producer also posted a significant rise in revenue during the quarter ended March 2026. Consolidated revenue surged 49 per cent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 11,343 crore, against Rs 7,611 crore in the previous quarter.
Operating earnings, measured as EBITDA, increased 23.2 per cent to Rs 2,643 crore from Rs 2,145 crore recorded in Q3FY26. However, EBITDA margin narrowed to 23.3 per cent from 28.2 per cent in the preceding quarter, indicating pressure on profitability despite higher revenue growth.

Final dividend of Rs 1 per equity share announced
The record date for determining shareholder eligibility for the final dividend is yet to be announced. The company clarified that the dividend proposal remains subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Once approved, the dividend will be credited within 30 days from the AGM date.
Earlier in February 2026, the company had declared an interim dividend of Rs 2.5 per share. With the latest announcement, the total dividend payout for FY26 stands at Rs 3.5 per share.
Before this, NMDC Limited had announced a dividend of Rs 1 per share in August 2025 and another dividend of Rs 1.5 per share in September 2024.
During intraday trade, the stock slipped as much as 5.3 per cent to touch Rs 87.39 apiece.
Despite Friday’s decline, the mining stock has delivered gains of 21.72 per cent over the past one year and is up 5.8 per cent so far in 2026.
