Some investors are selling part of their stakes: Not all major NSE shareholders are retaining their entire holdings. Aranda Investments, owned by Singapore’s Temasek Holdings, is selling about 1.12 crore shares from its 11.25 crore-share holding. Mahagony will retain about 8.93 crore shares, while Crown Capital will retain around 4.55 crore shares. TA Asia Pacific Acquisitions will retain about 3.23 crore shares and MS Strategic, associated with Morgan Stanley, will retain about 1.88 crore shares.
NSE’s decade-long IPO journey: NSE first filed its IPO papers with SEBI in December 2016, but the listing was delayed amid the co-location controversy and related regulatory proceedings. Its ₹22,561-crore IPO is entirely an offer for sale, with shares scheduled to list on September 24.
