The company said the 81.34 MW capacity was declared commercially operational with effect from 12:00 midnight on September 26, 2026. The project forms part of the 650 MW solar component under the 500 MW REMCL Round-the-Clock (RTC) Project of NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy.
Following the addition, the current commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Ltd group stands at 10,977.23 MW, while its total installed capacity has increased to 11,058.57 MW, according to the company’s exchange filing.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
Separately, NTPC Ltd paid a final dividend of ₹3,393.83 crore for the financial year 2025-26, equivalent to 35% of its paid-up equity share capital. The payment was made in addition to the first and second interim dividends of ₹2,666.58 crore each.
With the final dividend payment, NTPC’s total dividend payout for FY26 stood at ₹8,727 crore, equivalent to ₹9 per equity share of face value ₹10 each.
The disclosure on the solar project was made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
