Revenue from operations declined 3.35% to ₹210.43 crore from ₹217.72 crore, while EBITDA stood at ₹7.59 crore.
Total expenses rose 10.99% year on year to ₹207.98 crore from ₹187.38 crore, pressuring profitability despite a modest decline in revenue. Profit before tax fell to ₹30.10 crore from ₹48.30 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company reported an exceptional gain of ₹9.82 crore during the quarter, arising from a reduction in gratuity and compensated absence liabilities following a revision to its remuneration structure.
Sequential performance
On a sequential basis, consolidated PAT declined 30.91% from ₹34.55 crore in the March quarter, while revenue from operations fell 6.38% from ₹224.77 crore. Total expenses increased 6.61% quarter on quarter to ₹207.98 crore from ₹195.08 crore, while profit before tax declined to ₹30.10 crore from ₹41.51 crore.
Commenting on the results, Co-founder and Managing Director Vishnu R. Dusad said the company’s focus remained on creating long-term value through innovation, customer relationships and disciplined execution.

Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Parag Bhise said the company continued to make progress across product development, customer success, delivery and global market engagement during the quarter.
Looking ahead, Nucleus Software said it will continue strengthening its lending and transaction banking platforms, expand the use of responsible artificial intelligence and intelligent automation, enhance customer outcomes, broaden its regional partner network, strengthen global delivery capabilities and maintain disciplined execution through FY27.
Shares of Nucleus Software settled 0.42% lower at ₹738 ahead of the earnings announcement.
