However, NDTV reported on October 1 that the actress had suffered an accident during her time there and had been admitted to a hospital for treatment.It was later revealed that she had suffered a spinal injury, would need to undergo surgery for recovery, and had been airlifted to Mumbai to continue her treatment. The initial statement by her publicist read, “Nushrratt Bharuccha has met with an unfortunate accident in Bali. She had travelled there for a work commitment and had extended her stay by a few days. She sustained an injury in the accident and is currently hospitalised in Bali under medical care.”Her publicist added, “We request everyone to respect her privacy at this time and allow her the space to focus on her treatment and recovery. We are grateful for everyone’s concern and good wishes and will share further updates as and when appropriate.”

On the work front, the Bollywood star is joining hands with Tiger Shroff for an upcoming, untitled thriller film, which is being directed by Remo D’Souza. According to reports shared online by Bollywood Hungama, along with the actress and Shroff, the film has also cast Pashmina Roshan, Abhishek Banerjee, and Elvish Yadav. No other information has been made public about the project.
