The order covers the supply, delivery, testing and supervision of erection, testing and commissioning of 5.015 MWh BESS containers, along with Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS). It also includes a 12-year Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC).
The contract, awarded by domestic entity NTPC GE Power Services, is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2026.
The latest order comes shortly after Pace Digitek announced a ₹92.9-crore BESS order for its subsidiary Lineage Power from Kalpa Power. That contract covers the supply and commissioning support of a 100 MWh BESS and is also scheduled for completion by December 31, 2026.
The back-to-back wins come as Pace Digitek scales up its energy storage business. The company recently expanded its BESS manufacturing capacity from 2.5 GWh to 5 GWh and is targeting a further phased expansion to 10 GWh by the end of FY27. It has also manufactured more than 300 utility-scale BESS containers over the past year, representing around 1.5 GWh of storage capacity.
The latest ₹488.46-crore order therefore adds further visibility to Lineage Power’s BESS manufacturing and execution pipeline, as Pace Digitek expands across manufacturing, system integration and project execution in the energy storage segment.
