The project will be developed under a 12-year Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) model and is expected to be completed within seven months.
Under the long-term Battery Energy Storage Service Agreement (BESSA), Pace Digitek will receive a fixed capacity tariff of ₹47.05 lakh per MW per year, translating into annual contracted revenue of ₹27.1 crore.
The project will take Pace Digitek’s utility-scale BOO/BOOT storage portfolio to 3.32 GWh. It is the company’s fifth major utility-scale BOO/BOOT storage project.
The BSES order follows Pace Digitek’s ₹488.6 crore order from NTPC GE Power Services Private Limited in September for the supply of standalone BESS, along with annual maintenance contract (AMC) and warranty services.
Since the end of the first quarter of FY27, the Pace Digitek Group has secured ₹761 crore of additional orders across products and projects, the company said.
The company’s energy order book includes BOO, EPC and supply projects, with utility-scale BESS becoming an increasingly important part of its business.
Pace Digitek said it has capabilities across the energy storage value chain, including BESS manufacturing, system integration, equipment supply, EPC execution and the long-term ownership and operation of storage assets.
“Our recent wins also demonstrate the breadth of our participation across the BESS value chain from supplying storage systems and providing lifecycle services to developing and operating long-term contracted storage assets,” said Venugopalrao Maddisetty, Chairman and Managing Director, Pace Digitek Limited.
Shares of Pace Digitek closed at ₹162 on October 8, down 2.09% on the NSE.
