PhonePe has renamed its stockbroking platform Share.Market as PhonePe Invest and introduced a tool that analyses investors’ portfolios, including their holdings across demat accounts.
The tool, Portfolio Optimiser, provides a consolidated view of a portfolio’s diversification and offers research-based Hold, Monitor or Sell ratings for individual holdings, the company said on October 19.
It is designed to help investors identify underperforming assets and sector concentration risks, and suggests alternatives to rebalance portfolios. PhonePe said users can also use a one-click feature to optimise their portfolios on PhonePe Invest.
The platform offers stocks, initial public offerings (IPOs), mutual funds and futures and options (F&O). Portfolio Optimiser will be available on the dedicated PhonePe Invest app, with simplified investment features also planned for integration into the main PhonePe app.
The rebranding will not change existing users’ demat holdings, balances, watchlists, order history or login credentials, PhonePe said. Brokerage rates, fee plans and annual maintenance charges will also remain unchanged.
PhonePe launched Share.Market in August 2023 through its subsidiary, PhonePe Wealth Broking Private Limited. The company said the rebranding brings its wealth and broking business under the PhonePe name.
