PNC Infratech joint venture emerges L1 bidder for ₹572 crore UP bridge EPC project


Infrastructure company PNC Infratech Ltd on Wednesday (May 13) said
its joint venture with SPS Constructions India Private Ltd has emerged as the L1 (first lowest) bidder for a ₹571.81 crore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project awarded by UP State Bridge Corporation Ltd.
The project involves the construction of a four-lane major bridge over the Ganga River with a footpath on Bhairoghat Dhobighat Jalkal Campus, connecting Trans Ganga City to Kanpur City, including approach roads and protection works in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

The other member of the joint venture is SPS Constructions India Private Limited, with both partners holding a 50:50 participation ratio. PNC Infratech said the price bids were opened on May 13, 2026, following which the joint venture was declared the first lowest bidder.

The company said the project has a completion period of 36 months. The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and is classified as a domestic project.

This month, PNC Infratech Ltd said it had emerged as the L1 (first lowest) bidder for an EPC project awarded by the Lucknow Development Authority at a quoted price of ₹194.40 crore.

The project involves the construction of a four-lane flyover with two loops and two ramps at the Shaheed Path intersection on the right-hand side bank of the Gomti River in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The contract has been awarded on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis by a domestic entity. The company says the project is to be completed within 24 months.

Shares of PNC Infratech Ltd ended at ₹221.80, up by ₹3.30, or 1.51%, on the BSE.
