Power Mech bags ₹1,008.9 crore order from JSW Thermal Energy

Power Mech enters urban mobility with ₹296 crore Mumbai Monorail contract


Power Mech Projects Ltd said on Saturday, June 20, it has secured a ₹1,008.90 crore order, inclusive of GST, from JSW Thermal Energy Ltd for a thermal power project in West Bengal.

According to the company’s filing, the contract involves civil and structural works in the Boiler, Turbine and Generator (BTG) area for a 2×800 MW thermal power project at Salboni.

The project is to be executed within 36 months from the effective date or commencement of work, as applicable.

Earlier on June 3, the company had informed that it has won an order worth ₹266.26 crore from Adani Infrastructure Management Services Ltd for a thermal power plant in Maharashtra.
The work includes providing KPI based contract for operations and maintenance services at 2×300 MW thermal power plant at Butibori in Maharashtra, Power Mech said in an exchange filing.

Earlier in April, Power Mech had secured a ₹296 crore order from the Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Ltd. for the Mumbai Monorail project.

The contract included operations and maintenance of the 19.54 km corridor with 17 stations for five years.

As per the agreement, Power Mech will undertake comprehensive O&M services, which include managing rolling stock operations and upgraded communication-based train control (CBTC) signalling systems.

Shares of Power Mech Projects Ltd had closed 1.24% higher at ₹2,849 at NSE on June 19.
