Shares of PSP Projects surged 7.88% to ₹746.05 on Monday after the company reported an 88.8% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹30.2 crore for the second quarter of FY27, compared with ₹16 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The Ahmedabad-based company provides construction and allied services across industrial, institutional, government and residential projects, including civil construction, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) work, and interior fit-outs.
Revenue from operations rose 58.3% to ₹1,113 crore from ₹703 crore in the year-ago quarter. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 38% to ₹69 crore, compared with ₹50 crore a year earlier.
However, EBITDA margin contracted to 6.2% from 7% in the corresponding quarter last year, indicating pressure on operating profitability despite higher revenue and earnings.
PSP Projects CMD Prahladbhai Patel said the company recorded its highest-ever quarterly and half-yearly revenue of ₹1,113 crore and ₹1,967 crore, respectively, supported by improved project execution and labour availability.
He highlighted the completion of Project Ninety, an 18-storey high-rise delivered in 121 days, and the company’s new corporate office, completed in 240 days using precast technology.
As of September 30, 2026, the company’s outstanding order book stood at ₹12,872 crore, up 30% year-on-year, providing multi-year revenue visibility.
PSP Projects said that it has secured order inflows of around ₹1,305 crore in H1 FY27, including ₹675 crore in Q2, while its current bid pipeline stands at over ₹7,800 crore.
Separately, the company’s board approved shifting its registered office from PSP House in Ahmedabad to PSP Corporate House, also in Ahmedabad, with effect from November 4, 2026. The relocation is within the same city and the jurisdiction of the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat.
