The entry marked the real estate developer’s expansion beyond its traditional operating centres in southern and western India. “Greater Noida offers the combination of scale, infrastructure momentum and long-term demand that we look for when entering a new geography,” Ashish Puravankara, managing director of the company, said.
The company planned to develop the allotted land as an integrated urban and industrial area. The site was also located close to regional infrastructure facilities, including the Yamuna Expressway. Connectivity to the planned township was expected to be further strengthened by the development of the Noida International Airport at Jewar.
The company would continue to evaluate opportunities across Delhi NCR, Rajat Rastogi, CEO-West and Commercial Assets at Puravankara, said.
As of June 30, 2026, Puravankara had completed 97 projects totalling around 59 million square feet across nine cities; Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Mangaluru, Kochi, Mumbai, Pune and Goa.
The company has a total land bank of around 40 million square feet, while ongoing projects covered 35.14 million square feet, it said.

Puravankara shares gained more than 1.54% in intraday trade on the stock exchanges on Tuesday. The stock had declined more than 9% since the beginning of the year and more than 19% over the trailing 12-month period.
