Under the amended authorisation, the company can handle and recycle up to 960 MT of hazardous-waste contaminated barrels, containers and liners annually.
The authorisation also permits Pyramid Technoplast to manufacture up to 9,000 cleaned barrels, drums and containers per month for industrial use or granules. This is in addition to its existing capacity of 1,000 MT per month for plastic re-processed granules.
The CCA Amendment Order No. AWH-103781 was issued on September 18, 2026, with the consent fee paid up to November 5, 2030.
The company said the authorisation will allow it to serve third-party industrial customers for packaging waste management and expand its recycling operations.
Pyramid Technoplast’s Managing Director and Chairman Bijaykumar Agarwal said the amended authorisation would allow the company to receive and recycle contaminated industrial packaging from third-party customers and provide an integrated solution for packaging waste management.
