Shares of Finolex Cables, Hind Rectifiers, Viyash Scientific, Unichem Labs, Venky’s and Avenues AI have seen the sharpest result reaction among companies that reported their results on Tuesday, August 11. The stocks fell as much as 8% and gained as much as 12% on the flip side as well. Here’s a look at how these companies fared:

Finolex Cables | The company reported a 53% growth in its net profit to ₹249 crore from ₹162.6 crore last year. Revenue for the quarter grew by 44.3% year-on-year to ₹2,013.2 crore from ₹1,395.5 crore. Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amoritsation (EBITDA) for the quarter stood at ₹244.2 crore, a growth of 79% from last year’s figure of ₹136.3 crore, while margins expanded to 12.1% from 9.7% last year. Shares of Finolex Cables are trading 12.8% higher after the results announcement at ₹1,193.5. The stock is up 52% so far this year.

Viyash Scientific | The company, earlier known as Sequent Scientific reported a net profit of ₹65.8 crore from ₹31.8 crore last year. Revenue grew by 19.5% on a year-on-year basis to ₹946.36 crore from ₹791.6 crore last year. Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter grew by 50% from the year-ago period to ₹178.3 crore, while margins expanded to 18.9% from 15% earlier. Despite the margin expansion, shares fell 4.5% to ₹261.5. The stock is still up nearly 30% so far for the year.

Hind Rectifiers | It was a weak operating performance from the company during the June quarter, with EBITDA declining by 45.4% from last year to ₹13.22 crore, while margins narrowed sharply to 5.1% from 11.3% during the year-ago period. Revenue for the quarter went up by 20% to ₹258.4 crore, while profits were down 26.2%. The stock fell as much as 9% after the results announcement but recovered some of those losses to trade 5.5% lower at ₹1,222.1 The stock is still up 62% so far this year.

Venky’s | The poultry-linked company saw its net profit more than triple from last year to ₹50 crore from ₹15.8 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue for the quarter grew by 29.2% to ₹1,118.3 crore from ₹865.83 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA increased by 193%, nearly tripling to ₹69.17 crore from ₹23.58 crore, while margins stood at 6.2% from 2.7% last year.

Unichem Labs | The drugmaker returned to profitability during the June quarter by reporting a ₹41.47 crore profit, compared to a net loss of ₹10.47 crore last year. Revenue for the quarter went up by 20%, while EBITDA more than tripled to ₹70 crore from ₹22.5 crore earlier. EBITDA margins also saw a sharp expansion to 11.1% from 4.3% a year earlier. The stock is now trading 11.3% higher after the results announcement at ₹564.35. The stock is now up 29% so far this year.

AvenuesAI | Formerly known as Infibeam, the company reported a 24.3% growth in its net profit to ₹76.2 crore from ₹61.3 crore last year. Revenue for the quarter more than doubled to ₹2,680.4 crore, a growth of 109% from the year-ago quarter. EBITDA increased nearly 41% to ₹100 crore, but margins narrowed to 3.7% from 5.5% last year. Shares are down nearly 6% after the margin compression during the quarter to ₹16.55.
