Stock Market next week
The stock market will remain closed for three consecutive days next week on account of Maharashtra Day along with the regular weekend holidays. Trading across equities, derivatives, commodities and other instruments will remain suspended during this period. In the preceding trading week (April 20-24), the Sensex declined over 2.3 per cent while the Nifty 50 fell nearly 2 per cent, with the Sensex underperforming the benchmark index.
