Rubicon Research Q1 profit nearly doubles to ₹85 crore as revenue jumps 52%


Rubicon Research reported a 95.61% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹85 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with ₹43 crore in the year-ago period.

Consolidated revenue increased 51.6% year-on-year to ₹534.3 crore from ₹352.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

EBITDA rose 63.3% to ₹129 crore from ₹79 crore a year ago. EBITDA margin stood at 24.14%, compared with 22.42% in the year-ago period.

According to the company’s financial results, consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹534.34 crore in the June 2026 quarter, compared with ₹352.49 crore in the same quarter last year. Consolidated net profit attributable to owners of the company was ₹84.78 crore, against ₹43.30 crore a year earlier.

The company said it is primarily engaged in the sale of pharmaceutical products.

During the quarter, Rubicon Research completed the acquisition of an 85% stake in Arinna Lifesciences for a total consideration of ₹175.917 crore. The company said the acquisition was completed on April 30, 2026, and the current quarter’s results include Arinna Lifesciences’ results from the date of acquisition to June 30, 2026. It also noted that the current-quarter results are not comparable with previous periods due to the acquisition.

The company also said its Board had approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of Kia Health Tech Private Limited with Rubicon Research, which was filed with the Registrar of Companies, Navi Mumbai, on August 3, 2026. The scheme is subject to necessary approvals and compliances.Rubicon Research shares closed at ₹1,616.80 on the NSE on August 14, down ₹3.90 or 0.24%.
