SBI Q1 FY27 results: State Bank of India (SBI) reported a robust performance for the first quarter of financial year 2026-27, with standalone profit after tax (PAT) rising 10.2 per cent year-on-year to Rs 21,121 crore, compared with Rs 19,160 crore in the same quarter the previous financial year (Q1 FY26).
The country’s largest lender also reported healthy growth in its core interest income, with net interest income (NII) reporting a growth of 14.9 per cent YoY to Rs 46,992 crore in Q1 FY27. The NII stood at 40,906 crore in the year-ago quarter.
SBI’s operating profit stood at ₹33,529 crore in Q1 FY27, marking a 9.8% YoY increase from ₹30,544 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The growth in operating profit was supported by strong NII growth during the quarter.
