SEBI clears IPO plans of Atomberg, Ratnadeep Retail and Punjab Carbonic

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has approved the initial public offering (IPO) plans of consumer appliances maker Atomberg Technologies, Punjab Carbonic and supermarket chain Ratnadeep Retail, according to the latest weekly update on the market regulator’s website.

The regulator has also cleared the IPO proposal of GNI Infrastructure, while the proposed public offering of WOG Technologies has been withdrawn or returned.

Atomberg Technologies

Consumer appliances maker Atomberg Technologies has received SEBI’s approval for its proposed IPO, comprising a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to ₹450 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 7.65 crore shares by existing investors.

The Mumbai-based company filed its draft IPO papers with the regulator in August. The IPO will allow the company to raise fresh capital, while the OFS will provide an opportunity for existing shareholders to partially monetise their investments.

Atomberg is known for its energy-efficient consumer appliances, particularly its ceiling fans, and has gradually expanded its portfolio to include other home appliances. The company plans to use its IPO proceeds for brand awareness, R&D, and debt repayment.

Punjab Carbonic

Punjab Carbonic’s proposed IPO comprises a fresh issue of 60 lakh equity shares and an offer for sale of 35 lakh shares by existing shareholders.

The company plans to utilise the proceeds from the fresh issue to fund its expansion and operational requirements. These include setting up two carbon dioxide (CO2) recovery units in Andhra Pradesh and purchasing CO2 transportation tankers to strengthen its logistics infrastructure for the CO2 business.

A portion of the proceeds will also be used to expand the company’s existing ethanol distillery in Punjab by increasing its manufacturing capacity by 35 kilolitres per day (KLPD). The remaining funds will be utilised for debt repayment and general corporate purposes.

The proposed investments are expected to strengthen the company’s CO2 operations and enhance its ethanol production capacity.

Ratnadeep Retail

Secunderabad-based supermarket chain Ratnadeep Retail has received SEBI’s approval for its proposed IPO, after filing its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the regulator on July 1, 2026.

The proposed public issue comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth ₹400 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 1.49 crore shares by existing shareholders.

Promoters Sandeep Agarwal, Manish Bhartiya and Mitesh Bhartiya are among the shareholders participating in the OFS.

The company intends to utilise the proceeds from the fresh issue primarily to finance the expansion of its store network. The OFS, meanwhile, will provide an opportunity for existing shareholders to partially divest their holdings.

Headquartered in Secunderabad, Ratnadeep operates a supermarket chain and plans to expand its retail footprint through the proposed public issue.
