SS Retail reported a 36.6% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹23.5 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with ₹17.2 crore in the previous quarter.
Revenue rose 18.7% to ₹789 crore from ₹665 crore, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 25.5% to ₹44.8 crore from ₹35.7 crore.
The EBITDA margin, which measures EBITDA as a share of revenue, improved to 5.7% from 5.4%. Basic and diluted earnings per share stood at ₹3.58, compared with ₹2.64 in the previous quarter.
The company’s board approved the results at a meeting on Tuesday, October 13. The results were reviewed and recommended by the audit committee and were subject to a limited review by statutory auditor Manek & Associates.
The auditor said nothing had come to its attention to suggest that the financial statement omitted required information or contained any material misstatement.
IPO and use of proceeds
SS Retail completed its initial public offering (IPO) after the quarter ended. The issue was priced at ₹424 per share, including a premium of ₹414, and comprised a fresh issue of 85,04,075 shares worth ₹360 crore and an offer for sale of 33,01,884 shares worth ₹140 crore by existing shareholders.
The company’s shares were listed on the NSE and BSE on September 23, 2026. SS Retail said it had started using the IPO proceeds for the purposes specified in its prospectus, with a portion of the net proceeds temporarily deposited with scheduled commercial banks.
Business operations and labour codes
SS Retail operates a multi-brand retail chain selling mobile phones, accessories and other electronic products. It reported its business as a single operating segment, without separate geographical segments.
The consolidated results include two subsidiaries, Olineo Nexus India Private Limited and Nexora Smart Tech Private Limited. The company noted that figures for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, were prepared on a standalone basis and were therefore not comparable with the current period’s consolidated results.
The group has also assessed the incremental impact of the four Labour Codes notified by the government on November 21, 2025. It said it would account for the impact of other aspects as the relevant rules and clarifications are issued.
SS Retail shares closed at ₹693 on the BSE on Tuesday, up ₹0.75, or 0.11%.
