Benchmark indices ended significantly higher on Wednesday, April 15, driven by easing oil prices, renewed hopes of US-Iran peace talks and other factors.

The 30-share BSE Sensex rallied 1263.67 points or 1.64 per cent to end at 78,111.24, while NSE Nifty50 rose 388.65 points or 1.63 per cent to settle at 24,231.30.
