Stocks to Watch Today, July 29: Investors will track a busy session as earnings from Larsen and Toubro, Tata Capital, Varun Beverages, Radico Khaitan, Suzlon Energy and Sanofi Consumer Healthcare India remain in focus.

Corporate developments at LIC, Hindustan Unilever, Vedanta Power, Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL), Nykaa, HUDCO, Swiggy and Ashok Leyland are also likely to keep these stocks on investors’ radar during Wednesday’s trade.

Profit rises 14 per cent, revenue up 7 per cent

Larsen & Toubro reported a 14 per cent rise in profit to Rs 4,123 crore for the quarter, compared with Rs 3,617 crore a year earlier. Revenue increased 7 per cent to Rs 67,942 crore from Rs 63,679 crore.

Profit jumps 56 per cent in the quarter

Tata Capital posted a 56 per cent surge in profit to Rs 1,547 crore, up from Rs 990 crore a year ago. Total income rose 23 per cent to Rs 4,455 crore compared with Rs 3,626 crore.

Sanofi Consumer Healthcare India

Profit climbs 13.3 per cent

Sanofi Consumer Healthcare India reported a 13.3 per cent increase in profit to Rs 68.8 crore from Rs 60.7 crore. Revenue rose 6.7 per cent to Rs 235.7 crore against Rs 220.9 crore.

Net profit surges 76 per cent

Radico Khaitan reported a 76 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 229.60 crore in Q1 FY27. Revenue from operations increased 13.22 per cent to Rs 5,867.69 crore.

Profit declines, revenue increases

Suzlon Energy reported a nearly 6 per cent fall in net profit to Rs 305 crore for Q1 FY27. Total revenue rose to Rs 3,819 crore from Rs 3,117 crore.

Profit and revenue register double-digit growth

Varun Beverages reported a 15.07 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,525.35 crore in the June quarter of 2026. Revenue from operations rose 20.76 per cent to Rs 8,650.57 crore.

Board appoints new CFO and CRO

Life Insurance Corporation of India appointed Shatmanyu Shrivastava as Chief Financial Officer and Varadarajan Muthuvenkataraman as Chief Risk Officer, the company said on Tuesday.

HUL

Plans price hikes amid inflation expectations

Hindustan Unilever said it expects sequential inflation of 2-5 per cent in the September quarter compared with April-June and plans to increase prices across multiple product categories.

Vedanta Power said CRISIL upgraded the rating on its guaranteed long-term bank facilities, citing greater strategic focus and enhanced financial flexibility following the post-demerger structure.

Rail Vikas Nigam received a Letter of Acceptance from East Central Railway for doubling works from Kundawa Chainpur to Raxaul under the Sitamarhi-Raxaul doubling project.

Appoints head for quick-commerce business

FSN E-Commerce Ventures (Nykaa) appointed Ankit Jain to lead its quick-commerce vertical, Nykaa Now, as the company expands its 30-60-minute delivery service nationwide.

HUDCO

Plans USD 1.3 billion fundraise

Housing and Urban Development Corporation said it plans to raise USD 1.3 billion through external commercial borrowings over the next five months to fund urban infrastructure projects.

Swiggy

Instamart CEO resigns

Swiggy said Amitesh Kumar Jha, Chief Executive Officer of its quick-commerce platform Instamart, has resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Ashok Leyland partnered with UCO Bank to provide financing solutions for customers purchasing the company’s trucks and buses.
