TCS Q2 Results LIVE Updates: India’s largest IT services provider Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (TCS) will be reporting its September quarter results after market hours on Thursday, October 8. A CNBC-TV18 poll expects the Tata Group bellweather to report a 0.4% sequential growth in its US Dollar revenue, while rupee revenue is seen rising 1.3% to ₹73,225 crore. Earnings Before Interest, and Tax, (EBIT) is seen at ₹17,738 crore, while margins may expand by 20 basis points. Net profit for the quarter may rise 2.4% from the previous quarter to ₹13,673 crore. Comparable profit for the first quarter is seen at ₹13,849 crore, excluding the exceptional loss of ₹668 crore due to a legal claim settlement. Clients are continuing to defer non-critical commitments and are prioritizing short-term ROI programs, vendor consolidation and cost take-out deals. For TCS, constant currency revenue growth is seen between 0.5% to 0.6% on a sequential basis. Deal wins are seen between $9 billion to $10 billion, while AI revenue growth will also be monitored. That figure in Q1 stood at 8.5%. Recognition of Porsche mega-deal, margin outlook, AI impact are some of the key things to watch.
