Our home, at the end of the day, is where we spend most of our time, away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. While it is the space that often takes up most of our time, there are moments when it no longer feels like a safe space. Today’s quote from ‘Dhadkan’ actor Suniel Shetty is all about ensuring that your baseline, your home, is something that you willingly spend time in. He connected it to achieving success, revealing that balancing your inside life and your outside life is one of the most important aspects of achieving your long-term goals and wishes.Suniel Shetty has always emphasized living peacefully and mindfully. The actor’s quote for the day comes from an Asian Paints interview he gave 4 years ago, where he gave fans and viewers a deeper look into his Khandala property and why it is so special to him and his family. The quote of the day from Bollywood star Suniel Shetty reads: “Only if you create the magic at home can you create that magic outside. Only if you’re happy at home will you be happy outside. Home is about being happy, being able to do what I want to do and being able to be who I am.”
What does the quote mean?
Quote of the day from Suniel Shetty: ‘Only if you create the magic at home can you create that magic outside…’, when the ‘Hera Pheri’ actor taught us that the place you live in is more than brick and mortar; it can be the reason behind your success.
The quote, where Shetty was talking about his Khandala home, represents his profound and holistic approach to happiness, success, and mental well-being. Rather than giving in to the hustle culture, the actor talks about living slowly, mindfully, and prioritizing your home life to achieve success in the outside world. This is what he means when he says, “Only if you create the magic at home can you create that magic outside.”He also adds that a person’s success foundation cannot be built on a chaotic and disruptive home, since home is supposed to be their safe space away from life’s hard truths. Shetty prioritizes his peace and ensures his home is always filled with good aura, and is set up the way he wants. He shares that your home, wherever it may be, should take the front seat and be created in a manner that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed spending time there. If you have a solid and happy space at home, you become resilient to the hardships of the outside world, and can deal with obstacles better. He concludes the statement by adding, “Home is about being happy, being able to do what I want to do and being able to be who I am,” sharing that a home exists to keep you happy and safe. It is the space where you can be the most vulnerable version of yourself, which is why it is important to prioritize your personal space and life and create a healthy balance between your profession and what you do in the safety of your home. All in all, Shetty’s quote is quite profound, discussing how success isn’t always about conquering the world so you can finally relax at home; it’s more about nurturing your safe space—the area you call home—along with your family, and your true self properly, to ensure your life is filled with love and good energy to share with the rest of the world.

None of us knew that we were going to build such a beautiful home for the kids and family.”Shetty also revealed that the space came to them after he, along with some family friends, decided to travel to Khandala for Holi celebrations with their children. He recalled the distant memory of walking the same pathways they now call home when it was barren with only a few wild trees, alongside his son, Ahan Shetty. He shared that when his son held his hand and told him, “You know Papa, isn’t this place beautiful?”, that’s when he knew this place had the potential to be their home. Further on, he also explained how his and his wife’s childhood inspired them to create a home in this space, as it offered a lot of greenery and natural light. He added, “Keeping our homes green, our city green, our area green- very, very important because it gives you an extraordinary feeling, and that’s what happens to us I think, even if we come for 2 days when we come here, close that door, and it’s magical.”
