Shares of Tata Motors CV Ltd. will be in focus on Monday, October 12, after the company has revised its price higher for the mega Iveco acquisition.
Tata Motors CV has increased its offer price for the Iveco transaction to €14.40 from €14.10 earlier. The company has attributed the increased price due to the delay in the completion of the offer. The new offer price is a premium of nearly 7% from the initial deal announcement.
The company has also specified that the new price is the best it can offer and is the final one that they are making, adding that prices will not be revised any further.
Tender offer period for the Iveco deal ends on October 26.
The Tata Motors CV-Iveco deal was cleared by the Italian regulator Consob in September and the final date was fixed as October 26, unless extended.
As a result of the increased price, the total transaction value for the Iveco acquisition has increased by €81.36 million to €3.9 billion.
Tata Motors CV had first announced the Iveco transaction in July 2025, and this was excluding its defence business.
In June this year, Tata Motors CV had announced its outlook for financial year 2028, where it projected its domestic market share to be at 40%, and the company also hopes to maintain double-digit margins through the cycle.
After the completion of the Iveco deal, the company had projected its Return on Capital Employed (RoCE) to be between 30% to 35%, while investments are likely to be between 2% to 4% of the overall topline.
Shares of Tata Motors CV ended 0.6% lower on Friday at ₹410.5. The company currently commands a market capitalization of over ₹1.5 lakh crore.
