The official Empire State Building account shared a photograph of the iconic New York landmark illuminated in green, accompanied by the cryptic caption: “WhaTS happening?” The capitalised “TS” in the caption, has left many interpreting that it is a possible reference to the singer’s initials.

Photos circulating online show a mint-green “TS” design displayed on building panels, with poster panels and cars. Some fans have linked the design to Swift’s cursive signature and have linked the colour green to her album Reputation.
