Tejas Networks reported a sharp deterioration in its fourth-quarter performance on Wednesday, April 15, with losses widening significantly amid a steep drop in revenue. The company posted a net loss of ₹211.3 crore, compared with a loss of ₹71.8 crore a year earlier.

Revenue declined 82.6% year-on-year to ₹332.7 crore from ₹1,906.9 crore, while EBITDA turned to a loss of ₹118.2 crore versus a profit of ₹121.5 crore in the corresponding period last year, according to an exchange filing.

The quarter’s revenue was largely driven by sales of wireline products to domestic and international customers, the filing said.

Despite the weak earnings, the company’s order book grew 49% year-on-year to ₹1,514 crore at the end of Q4, up from ₹1,329 crore in Q3 FY26 and ₹1,019 crore in Q4 FY25, reflecting improving demand visibility.

The company also recognised a provision of ₹9.85 crore towards past service costs for employee benefits during the quarter, following the implementation of labour codes notified by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, as per the exchange filing.

Shares of Tejas Networks ended higher on Wednesday, April 15, by 1.65% at ₹449.85 on the NSE.
