Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd shares rose up to 10% at market open. The company’s shares had fallen more than 19% since the beginning of the year and almost 29% in the past year. Tejas Networks shares rose nearly 10% in morning trade after the company received a Letter of Intent worth ₹1,537 crore from Tata Consultancy Services for the supply of installation materials for the BSNL 4G mobile network.

The stock opened at ₹538 against its previous close of ₹511.15 and touched an intraday high of ₹562.70, gaining 9.49%, or ₹48.50, during the session. It marked the stock’s third consecutive session of gains.

The deal was executed at an average price of ₹117.72 per share on the NSE. The company’s shares had fallen more than 10% since the beginning of the year and more than 23% in the past year. The stock was 36% below its 52-week high of ₹161.99. Whirlpool of India shares fell up to 3% at market open. The company’s shares had fallen 8% since the beginning of the year and more than 37% in the past year. Billionbrains Garage Ventures Ltd (Groww) shares fell up to 2% at market open after 12.74 crore shares (2.1% equity) worth ₹2,500 crore changed hands in a large trade on Wednesday.
