The Wealth Company Alternates, the asset management arm of Pantomath Group, said several companies in its investment portfolio are moving towards initial public offerings (IPOs), with the potential exit pipeline estimated at more than ₹1,000 crore.
The portfolio companies include Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses Ltd, MKC Agro Fresh Ltd, Vardhman Appliances Ltd, Hi-Tech Flow Solutions Ltd and BGauss Auto Pvt Ltd, according to a statement issued by the company on October 9.
The company said MKC Agro Fresh, Vardhman Appliances and Hi-Tech Flow Solutions have filed draft offer documents, while BGauss Auto is preparing to file its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP). Zetwerk is the largest investment in the portfolio, it added.
The company did not disclose the individual investment values, the expected timelines for the proposed IPOs or a breakup of the estimated ₹1,000 crore-plus pipeline.
For alternative investment funds, IPOs can provide an exit route through which holdings in portfolio companies may be sold, subject to the offer structure and market conditions. The actual proceeds depend on factors including the size of the stake sold, the offer price and the timing of the exit.
The Wealth Company Alternates said it has made more than 25 investments over the past three years. Its other investments include Amnex Infotechnologies, Big Mishra and Haldiram Bhujiawala.
