For travellers across the globe, airports are not just places to catch flights. Airports are also places where people need to reach much before time. It’s where they sit, relax and enjoy views and do shopping. Some airports also have their own entertainment hubs. In 2026, some of the world’s most spectacular terminals have become destinations in their own right. These are a perfect combination of architecture, sustainability, local culture and memorable passenger experiences. In a recent update, the prestigious Prix Versailles, a global architecture and design award announced every year at UNESCO, has revealed its list of the ‘World’s Most Beautiful Airports 2026’.
This year’s list features seven most stunning airports from across Asia, Europe and North America. This time not one but two of India’s airports also secured spots on the prestigious list.
