Indian equities are facing growing technical weakness, with three-fourths of Nifty 500 stocks trading below their 100-day moving averages. Heavy FPI selling, elevated crude prices, rising bond yields and weak auto sales have added to the pressure.

The extended selloff in Indian equities is increasingly testing key technical levels, with a growing number of stocks falling below their medium- and long-term moving averages. As of Thursday, three-fourths of Nifty 500 constituents were trading below their 100-day moving averages, pointing to continued weakness across the broader market.
