The company’s total sales rose to 4.73 lakh units from 4.43 lakh units in April 2025.
Two-wheeler sales grew 6% year-on-year to 4.55 lakh units, compared with 4.30 lakh units a year ago. Domestic two-wheeler sales increased 8% to 3.49 lakh units. Within segments, scooter sales rose 24% to 2.11 lakh units, while motorcycle sales declined to 2.00 lakh units from 2.20 lakh units in the year-ago period.
Electric vehicle sales recorded a 36% increase to 37,771 units, up from 27,684 units last year.
International business sales rose 3% year-on-year to 1.20 lakh units, compared with 1.16 lakh units in April 2025.
Three-wheeler sales posted a 37% increase to 18,637 units, up from 13,566 units a year ago.
The company said retail demand remained robust across domestic and international markets. However, dispatch volumes were impacted by lower production due to supply chain challenges, including workforce availability, raw material shortages, and limited container availability for exports. It added that corrective measures are underway and production is expected to improve in May 2026.
