The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has constituted a five-member committee to examine representations submitted by candidates who are dissatisfied with the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 result.The commission had declared the result of the UPTET 2026 written examination on August 26 through Advertisement No. 01/2026. Following the result announcement, several candidates have submitted grievances to the commission regarding their results.Candidates have been sending their representations through different modes, including visiting the commission office in person, registered post and email.
Committee to examine UPTET result complaints
According to the notice, the five-member committee will examine all aspects of the representations received from candidates. After reviewing the complaints, the committee will submit its report to the commission at the earliest.The commission will then examine and dispose of the candidates’ representations based on the report submitted by the committee.This means that the committee will first look into the grievances, after which the commission will take a decision based on its findings.Candidates can submit representations by email:Candidates who wish to correspond with the commission can also submit their representations through email. UPTET result 2026 : Statistics
The UPTET 2026 examination was conducted on July 2, 3 and 4 across 955 examination centres in 60 districts of Uttar Pradesh.For the primary level, covering Classes 1 to 5, a total of 7,13,648 candidates appeared for the examination. Of these, 5,71,435 candidates qualified, with a pass percentage of 80.07%.At the upper primary level, covering Classes 6 to 8, a total of 10,57,021 candidates appeared for the examination. Of these, 7,59,513 candidates qualified, recording a pass percentage of 80.65%.The examination was also taken by working teachers. At the primary level, 1,22,405 working teachers appeared, of whom 93,387, or 76.29%, qualified.At the upper primary level, 1,46,394 working teachers appeared for the examination, while 1,13,384 candidates, or 77.45%, qualified.The latest committee formation gives candidates a formal channel to have their result-related representations examined by the commission.
