The payment was made through a one-click mechanism from the Chief Minister’s Camp Office, according to the state government.
The pension schemes cover beneficiaries under categories including old-age, widow, disability, farmer, deserted women, maintenance allowance, Teelu Rauteli and dwarf pensions.
Of the total beneficiaries, 2,14,711 are covered under the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), while 7,77,203 receive pensions under state-level schemes, according to details presented by the government.

The August disbursement included around ₹140.11 crore as the state’s share and ₹6.94 crore as the Centre’s share.
5,605 new pensions sanctioned
The government also sanctioned 5,605 new pensions during August.
These included 3,945 old-age pensions, 1,000 widow pensions, 416 disability pensions, 106 farmer pensions, 23 pensions for deserted women and 115 beneficiaries under the maintenance allowance scheme.
Dhami said the state government was committed to ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive social security benefits in a simple and timely manner.
He also directed officials to identify eligible beneficiaries who are unable to obtain Aadhaar and make arrangements for account-based payments so that they are not denied pension benefits because of Aadhaar-related issues.
The Chief Minister further directed officials to work towards making the pension system simpler and more transparent while ensuring coverage of eligible beneficiaries.
