The fund was launched on August 9, 2004. Over the past three years, it delivered a CAGR of 23.17%. Its five-year and 10-year CAGRs stood at 17.71% and 16.44%, respectively, as of July 31, 2026. The fund delivered a one-year return of 17.83%.
Lump-sum investment
A ₹1 lakh lump-sum investment made when the fund was launched would have grown to around ₹45.15 lakh by July 31, 2026, based on the fund house’s calculations.
Fund portfolio and AUM
HSBC Midcap Fund had assets under management of ₹15,578 crore as of July 31, 2026.
The portfolio comprised 55 equity stocks, with an active share of 72.93%. The scheme predominantly invests in mid-cap stocks and follows a bottom-up approach to stock selection.
The fund house said the portfolio had exposure to sectors including electrical equipment, retailing, industrial manufacturing, non-banking financial companies and private-sector banks.

The ₹2.44 crore SIP value represents a historical calculation based on the fund’s past performance. It should not be treated as an assured return or an indication of future performance.
