The National Testing Agency has set June 23 as the final day for CSIR UGC NET June 2026 applicants to edit their submitted forms. Candidates can make permitted changes through the official portal until 11:50 PM. NTA has clarified that the correction facility is a one-time opportunity and that additional fees may apply for certain modifications.

CSIR UGC NET 2026 correction window closes: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) June 2026 application window today, July 23, 2026. Candidates who wish to make changes to their application forms must complete the process before 11:50 PM, after which no further corrections will be permitted under any circumstances. The Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on July 17 and 18, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at examination centres across the country.The testing agency has made it clear that no requests for changes in application particulars will be accepted after the correction window closes. Candidates are therefore urged not to wait until the last moment and to ensure that all information is accurate before submitting the revised form.

CSIR UGC NET 2026: Steps to make corrections

Following are some of the steps which candidates can follow to edit their application form before the deadline for correction:

  • Login at the official CSIR UGC NET website www.csirnet.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the link ‘Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 Correction’ which can be found on the home page of the website.
  • Login by using the Application Number, Password, and Security Pin.
  • Edit your application form.
  • Check the data and make the required corrections in the editable fields.
  • Save the edited form and submit after verification.
  • In case if the correction leads to payment of an extra amount, such as in case of category change or change in PwBD status, then make the payment through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Additional fee may apply in certain cases

NTA has also informed candidates that changes in certain categories may result in an additional fee. If a candidate modifies details related to category or Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) status and the revision leads to a higher application fee, the additional amount must be paid online.The payment can be made through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
