The company sold 1,03,860 vehicles during the month, including exports, compared with the year-ago period. Utility vehicle sales in the domestic market rose 20% to 60,048 units from 49,871 units in July 2025. Including exports, SUV sales stood at 60,887 units.
Mahindra’s domestic commercial vehicle sales increased 23% year-on-year to 25,204 units in July.
Within the commercial vehicle segment, sales of light commercial vehicles below 2 tonne jumped 40% to 3,870 units, while sales of vehicles in the 2 tonne to 3.5 tonne category grew 21% to 21,334 units. Three-wheeler sales, including electric three-wheelers, surged 53% to 14,538 units.
The company’s exports also recorded strong growth, rising 47% to 4,070 units in July from 2,774 units a year ago.
Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Business reported a 21% growth in domestic tractor sales at 32,643 units in July, compared with 26,990 units in the same month last year. Total tractor sales, including exports, increased 20% to 34,420 units from 28,708 units.
The company attributed the tractor sales growth to improved rainfall, better reservoir levels, faster Kharif sowing supported by government measures and healthy farm cash flows, which supported rural sentiment.Mahindra’s Trucks and Buses business, which includes Mahindra Trucks & Buses division and SML Mahindra, sold 3,009 vehicles in July, registering a 19% year-on-year growth. Cargo vehicle sales rose 15% to 1,474 units, while passenger vehicle sales increased 23% to 1,535 units.
