Nifty 50 CEO pay hits ₹1,443 crore in FY26, average remuneration rises 15%

The managing directors and chief executive officers of India’s top 50 companies collectively received nearly ₹1,443 crore in remuneration in FY26, taking the average pay to around ₹29 crore, up 15% from the previous year. The average remuneration stood at around ₹25 crore in FY25, according to data compiled from companies’ annual reports and Bloomberg.
