Over 70 stocks on the BSE Smallcap Index fell to their 52-week low in Intraday trading on Wednesday, September 16 as the broader markets continued to witness profit booking as they had outperformed the benchmark indices over the last one month. Here’s a look at the top five names that fell to a 52-week low today.
PNC Infratech | Shares of PNC Infratech slumped over 11% in intraday trade, falling to a 52-week low of ₹116.40. The stock’s losses extended from Tuesday’s session, when it had dropped as much as 20% after being barred from bidding for National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) projects for a three-year period. The decision came after reports of structural distress on the Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway. Shares of PNC Infratech have declined in six out of the nine months so far this year, having declined 33% already this month after a 23% drop in August.
Antony Waste Handling Cell | The shares of Antony Waste Handling Cell fell up to 3% in intraday trade, hitting a 52-week low of ₹337.55. The stock has declined in 12 out of the last 13 trading sessions. The company’s shares have fallen more than 29% year-to-date and more than 42% over the trailing 12 months. Wednesday also marked the fourth consecutive session of losses for the stock. This is also the third straight month of losses for the stock, which has also declined in six out of the nine months of the year so far.
La Opala RG | Shares of La Opala RG fell up to 3% in intraday trade, hitting a 52-week low of ₹155. The stock has declined in 18 out of the last 22 trading sessions. The company’s shares have fallen almost 23% year-to-date and almost 37% over the trailing 12 months. The stock has declined in only four out of the nine months of the year, but the quantum of losses have been far greater than the quantum of gains.
Oswal Pumps | Shares of Oswal Pumps fell over 2% in intraday trade, hitting a 52-week low of ₹266.45. The company’s shares have fallen over 48% since the start of the year and more than 65% over the trailing 12 months. Wednesday also marked the third consecutive session of losses for the stock. The stock is also trading well below its IPO price of ₹614, and has declined in seven out of the nine months so far in 2026.
Sagar Cements | Shares of Sagar Cements fell up to 2% in intraday trade, slumping to a 52-week low of ₹141.52. The company’s shares have fallen more than 32% since the start of the year and more than 47% over the trailing 12 months. The stock has declined every single month of 2026 barring April, and has halved from its 52-week high.
