The platform delivers core benefits functions for around 2 million citizens across Scotland, and Mphasis will support its maintenance to help ensure continued access to benefits services.
Under the agreement, Mphasis will provide support and maintenance for Social Security Scotland’s core benefits case management platform. The platform supports benefit applications, eligibility decisions and payments.

Mphasis’ role will also focus on maintaining a stable, resilient and high-quality service for citizens, supporting continuity across the platform. The company said the collaboration will strengthen how citizens access the support they need across Scotland.

Social Security Scotland is one of the largest executive agencies of the Scottish Government, responsible for delivering core benefits to people across Scotland efficiently and securely.
Its Social Program Management (SPM) case management system plays a critical role in administering a wide range of social security payments from disability to heating support. This agreement helps mitigate risks linked to operational inefficiency and disruption through major incidents.
Shares of Mphasis Ltd ended at ₹2,284.90, down by ₹4.10, or 0.18%, on the BSE.
